During the course of 2009 Simon and Danielle Groves
have formed a work partnership, which they've called “Bright New Things”.
The name was coined from the appearance of their first product
intended for sale in South West shops; a Gold leafed trinket box with
a carved Sun-ray design on the lid.
The work produced here for their exhibitions in South West England
is both a dream come true for Simon who wishes to continue exhibiting his paintings
locally; and a potentially important beginning for their finances as the work here under
Bright New Things copyright is also intended to be reproduced in print form, as framed
prints, posters, and possibly greetings cards in the UK and abroad.
They are looking out for all possibilities in business for expanding the use
and distribution of their artwork and 3D craft projects, including
sculpture and figurines.
In the bigger picture of work-life for both Simon and Danielle, the
main personal function of Bright New Things trading ventures
will to be to allow them both to work on whatever they like at a
gentle natural pace of life. However the business evolves,
their current intention is to let the locally exhibited work truly
work for them, with mass produced printed material, and the internet.
